Mechanism of action - Act by inducing  apoptosis of osteoclasts

Hence its used where there is osteoclast mediated bone loss

Eg - Metastatic bone disease
        osteogenic imperfecta
        Multiple Myeloma
        Pagets Disease of bone
        Hypercalcemia in malignancy
